Like my new title? I made it using these instructions. Expect it to change often while I play with various photos and text.  (I’m learning new stuff here so bear with me even though it’s second nature to the kids!) . R x

Tidy Desk

I actually made good use of some time today when the kids all went for a swim in the school pool :

Here is some embroidery I did while away on holiday using a transfer from Sublime Stitching that daughter 1 gave me for Christmas. I don’t think Ill have any plain pillowcases left as these are such fun to make and I have quite a few patterns to try.

 

Also Daughter 1 has been drawing on her walls (with help from sisters!)  And sticking up her German poetry magnets – dein Gesicht ist haesslich (you have an ugly face) . teenagers .

At least the weather has improved for a few days.

Lastly congratulations to Mum and Dad who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last weekend . Wow. What a marvellous achievement . Lots of love. xx

A Belated Happy New Year

I can’t believe it’s over a month since I last posted! I have done some making but also plenty of holidaying as well!

That came with a kit to make a bag..

Made bag – see just like the picture in the book (except I lined mine). And Daughter one decided it was such a nice bag she has it now! At least I have the pattern in the book to make another one.

Well, that’s about it for now. I hope you are having better weather where you are. We have come back to freezing weather. The first time I can remember lighting the fire in January in Wellington.  I have also been doing some stitching and hope to take some pictures of it when we get some sunshine!
