Zentangles and Art Journalling

This was the week I started ‘zentangling’. Lots of fun and a good way to experiment with pattern.  I found how to  here and for inspiration go to  Milliande - you tube  and watch her ‘Zendoodling’. Milliande also has a website here which has inspired me to do some ‘Art Journalling’.

It was a beautiful day yesterday so daughter 2 and I went mountain biking around Pencarrow way. Great views.

Pamphlet books; quilts

I have been experimenting with a new book design using recycled materials and then screen printing the covers. They’re ok but I think I can do better!

Also take a look at these quilts I made about 10 years ago for daughters 1 and 2 . Just washed and drying in the sun today. A simple design but lots of fun fabrics. These are only the 2nd and 3rd quilts I had made so was still learning . (and I have lots more to learn!)
I am hoping to make more quilts this year.
