A Belated Happy New Year

I can’t believe it’s over a month since I last posted! I have done some making but also plenty of holidaying as well!

Made bag – see just like the picture in the book (except I lined mine). And Daughter one decided it was such a nice bag she has it now! At least I have the pattern in the book to make another one.

Well, that’s about it for now. I hope you are having better weather where you are. We have come back to freezing weather. The first time I can remember lighting the fire in January in Wellington.  I have also been doing some stitching and hope to take some pictures of it when we get some sunshine!

I hope you have enjoyed a peek at some of the activities that have been happening in my house over the last week or two. I can see that I need to seriously improve  my photographic abilities!

Here is an 'Arty ' shot since no blog is complete without some.This is the first of a series I am going to call Dr Suess trees as they look like they came straight from 'Whoville ' or similar! Not sure what type of tree it is though growing underneath it are some Mamaku ferns
