I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since last October!
Here is a brief catch up:

Christmas Day in Wellington ( hottest day since 1934!)
Holiday in the Coromandel:
Kids go back to school in a week or so , then can start printing (and weaving) again.

Maggie broke her cruciate ligaments in her leg and is on the slow road to recovery .
The latest weaving project is underway.
I have had the use of a press for a week at home and have been making lots of prints…

Saturday. Gale force winds and rain. But I still made it up to the top of Mt Albert behind the National Hockey Stadium in Newtown.
I had my parents’ dog too.

I have been learning how to make Solar Plate prints out at the Hutt Art Centre . Here is a sneak peek:
The orange part is the plate that you print.
I have been using hubby’s bikes as inspiration.
And I have warped my loom this time with orange wool and cream alpaca in the warp.
