7 Trigs, 7 Days Day 5

Friday. Was a very windy grey day in Wellington so I didn’t want to climb too high. This is the top of  Tinakori Hill approx 303m.

Thursday.Mt Kaukau. A bit windy and foggy at the top. Hence Maggie’s ears!

According to NZ Lands and Survey  the trig is approximately 450m above sea level. It is about 10m higher than the base of the radio transmitter in the background on the left.

Wednesday. Top of Johnston Hill in Karori. Looking South over Karori to Cook Strait.

Tuesday. Top of Newlands while daughter 4 at hockey practice. Nicer weather than yesterday but very windy. Once again Wellington in background:
